"We are a unique group of breeders dedicated to breed the perfect Burmilla for you. Our cats are not just beautiful but they are bred inside our homes 100% of the time so they are part of our families."

Why Choose our breeders

1. We guarantee that our kittens are 100% home reared

Kittens bred indoors, exposed to common household utlilities (eg vaccum clearners, washing machines) and have constant interaction with people and other pets will have the best chance in adjusting to their new homes.

Our kittens live inside our homes at all times. WE DO NOT RAISE KITTENS INSIDE A CATTERY CAGE AND ONLY BRING THEM INSIDE SOMETIMES.

2. We guarantee that all our breeding cats are PKD Negative (by DNA testing)

Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is an inherited autosomal dominant disorder affecting approximately 36% of Persian cats . Characterized by the formation of cysts on the kidneys, PKD could lead to eventual renal failure and possible death .

Since the Burmillas were originally created by crossing Burmese with Chinchilla Persian, PKD could be passed on from the Chinchilla parents. As a result, a good breeder will always screen their breeding cats for PKD before mating their cats.

DNA PKD testing is the only sure way to know if your cat carries the PKD gene. Accordingly, ALL breeding cats owned by our catteries have been DNA tested and are PKD negative .

3. We vet check, desex, vaccinate (twice), worm and microchip all our kittens

Our kittens are usually ready for rehoming after 12 weeks. All our kittens are vet checked, desexed, vaccinated (twice), wormed and microchipped before leaving us.

4. We care about the kittens we breed

If you are concerned about your kitten/cat's health. Please do not hesitate to contact us. We care about the cats we breed and will assist you in any way we can to help you resolve your cat's health issues.

5. We are all registered breeders

New South Wales Cat Fanciers Association (NSWCFA)

The NSW CFA is the largest and most active Feline Registering Body in the Southern Hemisphere with in excess of 40 affiliated Clubs and kindred societies, which conduct 45 shows each year under the Rules and Regulations of the NSW CFA.

Queensland Feline Association Inc (QFA)

QFA was founded in 1975 and to date is the largest registering Cat Control Council in Queensland. Affiliated Clubs of QFA also run regular cat shows and are active in the promotion of the Cat Fancy in general.

6. Most of our breeders are keen exhibitors and actively support the improvement of the Burmilla breed

Many of our breeders will attend in excess of 15 to 20 shows a year to ensure that the cats they breed adhere to the current Burmilla standards.

Over the past years, many of our cats have been awarded championship status. In 2006, a number of our cats have even reached the Silver and Gold Double Grand Champion status. MoMo of Aaralyn Cattery is the first NSWCFA Gold Double Grand Champion Longhair Burmilla. In 2007, Aaralyn Lion Dance was placed Top 10 Male Kitten of the Year. In 2008, Aaralyn Lotus Blossom was awarded Best Female Cat and Reserved Best Female Cat (gp 3) at the Royal Easter Show.
